A must have at the gym

For the vast majority of us is music a necessity during a workout. Have you ever wondered why? Does music actually enhance our workout?

There is a bunch of research out there exploring the link between music and exercise and several scientists who have expressed an opinion on the subject. It actually dates as long back as the 1920s. What they all seem to agree on is that listening to music during exercise leads to a better workout.

Music actually changes the heart- and metabolic rate, reduces stress and affects blood pressure. Listening to music it releases feel-good-chemicals in the brain, such as dopamine and opioids, which boosts your mood.

Whether you use music as a distraction or mood enhancer, it helps you to move faster without you even realizing it. We have therefor put together a playlist that gets us going – check it out!
