Cardio killer

Many people love to run, weather it’s in nature or on a treadmill. Then you have some people who can just look at a treadmill and it gives them the creeps. Even though we love to work out we have to admit the treadmill is not exactly our favorite cardio machine. That’s why we were so excited to learn about intervals.

Interval runs are short and intense efforts, followed by equal recovery time. The burst of speed you perform will help you get into better cardiovascular shape and improve your workouts in the long term. In addition, you burn more calories both during and after the workout and is a perfect choice when you have a busy schedule. So, spice up your cardio with our favorite interval workout.

Instructions
– Start your warmup by walking fast, steep uphill for 10 minutes.
– Run for 2 minutes, walk fast for 1, run for 2 minutes, walk fast for 1 and then run 3 minutes and walk fast for 1.
– Now the interval starts! Run as fast as you can for 45 seconds, then jump off and rest for 15. Repeat 10 times.
– Cool down for 5 minutes.

Feel free to adjust the speed after the form you’re in, just make sure you’re challenging yourself.
