During the winter, when it´s cold and dark outside, we sometimes prefer to stay in and watch a movie rather then running around town being social. There is something about snuggling up under a blanket and just get lost in an other world, don’t you agree? So, it’s time to make some popcorn or other snacks and get comfortable, because here are some film tips.
Life of Pi
Life of Pi is a movie based on Yann Martel’s novel by the same name. A young man survives a disaster at sea and ends up in a lifeboat with a injured zebra, a orangutan and a fearsome Bengal tiger. While they are adrift in the Pacific Ocean, they need to find a way to co-exist and survive. A beautiful story about love, compassion and survival.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower
The Perks of Being a Wallflower is also based on a novel, written by Stephen Chbosky. It´s a beautiful story about a 15-year-old boy coping with the suicide of his best friend while struggling to fit in and find a group of people with whom he belongs. Until he one day is taken under the wings of two seniors, Sam and Patrick, who welcome him to the real world. It´s a story about friendship, love and life.
Oh my, oh my! This is a story about all-consuming love and despair. It´s about a privileged girl and a charismatic boy whose instant desire sparks a love affair made only more reckless by parents trying to keep them apart. A must see!
