Hummus is a chickpea-based dip and is widely used in Arab countries. It can be served as a side dish, as a dip for vegetables or bread and is also superb for grilled food. It basically goes with everything. We came over the perfect recipe and wanted to share it with you.

700g pre-cooked chickpeas
The juice from one small lemon
3 garlic gloves
½ – 1 cup olive oil
1,5-2 tbsp tahini
¼ tsp crushed cumin seeds
A dash of paprika-powder or cayenne pepper
Wash the chickpeas before putting them and the rest of the ingredients in a food processor (or a blender) and run until smooth. Move over in a bowl and add the olive oil until you have the desired consistency. Season with salt!
