Treat yourself

March – a month that has just begun but never seems to end. The weather is grey and you feel like hiding under a rock somewhere. But did you know that March is the best month to spoil yourself? We went to a spa in the middle of the city to wash away all our troubles.

When you think of the word spa you automatically think, pricy and far away – but it could actually be closer than you think. We tried Selma City Spa at Clarion Sign in Stockholm and had a few hours of relaxation. Here’s a list of nice day spa’s in Stockholm we think is worth a visit.

1. Sturebadet
This is an oasis of luxury that makes you feel you are walking around in an Roman empire. Relaxing lounge and aroma room with fresh fruit, 29-degree pool, steam and dry sauna and hydromassage. If you feel to exercise you can join in a fitness class. Check out from the stress outside and enjoy a couple of hours in the heart of Stockholm.

Elements Spa
This is a place of harmony and total relaxation in the southern part of Stockholm. A day here includes access to both an indoor and outdoor pool, steam and dry sauna, exercise classes as scheduled, relaxation room, snow showers and a fitness center with everything you need: fitness and strength training. You can borrow a bathrobe, towel and slippers and enjoy Ayurvedic tea and various fruits. You should really book one of their Ayurvedic treatments when you’re there, they are to die for!

Selma City Spa
With a roof top pool heated up to 35 degrees celcius, this spa is definately worth a visit. The perfect spa for a group of friends that wants to enjoy a beer or a glass of wine in the pool while admiring the magnificant view of the city. Both pool and sauna is unisex and it’s a nice happy feeling. If you want silence enjoy the lounge area where you can nibble on some fresh fruit and kick back in a resting chair that plays soothing music.
