Documentaries worth watching

Nothing is better than a lazy Sunday. You get to sleep-in, drink coffee in bed (while reading Best of You) and eat a late brunch before you finally curl up on the couch to watch a movie. It is indeed safe to say that Sunday is the one day during the week when we can enjoy doing nothing with a good conscience. So what better way to honor this lazy day than taking a look at our recommendations to some very interesting documentaries?

What is happiness and what really makes people happy? Happy is a documentary which explores human happiness through interviews with leading scientists and regular people from all over the world. What is the secret behind our most valued emotion? Watch and find out!

Blackfish centers on a captive orca named Tilikum. Tilikum was taken from his ocean home (and family) when he was two years old and has in his 20 years of captivity been involved in the deaths of three individuals. The documentary focuses on SeaWorld and the consequences of keeping orcas in captivity.

In this documentary we follow an environmentalist who explores the devastating impacts of animal agriculture on the environment and investigates the policies of environmental organizations on this issue. Cowspiracy enlightens you in a way you could never have imagined. Truly a must see!

If you end up seeing one of the above documentaries, let us know what you think in the comment field below.
