This smoothie is packed with energy which will make you feel fabulous and kick start your day!
Fun facts: Bananas contain potassium and are said to be helpful when overcoming depression due to trypthoptan, which the body later converts to serotonin. Kiwi is rich in vitamin C, helps us to reduce blood pressure and prevents stroke. Spinach is a great source of vitamin A & K, iron and high in fibre.
1 large ripe banana
1 large kiwi
50g frozen spinach
350ml almond/oat milk/skimmed milk
2tsb chia seeds/flaxseed
5 ice cubes
Peel and chop the banana and kiwi into pieces. Blend all ingredients in a food processor or use a mixer for about 3-4 minutes until the consistency is smooth. Pour the smoothie into 2 glasses and get ready to be energized!
