Scandinavia is finally catching up on the health trend and more and more cafes are opening up. Organic and natural food is on the menu and we love it! We have therefore selected six cafes in Scandinavia worth visiting.
A cosy little cafe in the heart of Copenhagen, with white washed wood floors and a lot of daylight coming through the huge windows. Atelier September has actually been located at Gothersgade in Copenhagen since 1987, when the bright, airy room used to house an antique store. They have a small, but very tasty menu. Something for everyone.
Raw42 is a cafe that focuses on Raw Food, meaning nothing is heated over 42 degrees. In this way the food retains its vitamins and enzymes. They serve dishes free from sugar, gluten and lactose. This is a place where you can eat whatever you want with a very good conscious. Salads, vegan burger, delicious cakes and whatnot.
Ecoist is a family owned cafe and store in Stockholm. Not only can you enjoy a healthy lunch, take-away and products, but you can also book advisory services. Their goal is to help people improve their health and quality of life. The small cafe offers a cozy atmosphere and during summer it is possible to sit outside.
Reload Superfood Bar
Reload focuses on superfood and here you can mix your own salad, enjoy a açaí bowl, drink coconut water and finish off with some raw food cake. It is a small, but busy cafe, decorated with wooden furniture and green details, reminding us of nature. Reload offers nutritious meals without unnecessary harmful substances or chemicals, but with wonderful taste!
