Health and beauty with Oriflame

Some early mornings are easier than others. Thursday September 21, we spent a beautiful morning at Oriflame Concept Store in Stockholm.

We partnered up with the Swedish cosmetic company Oriflame for an exclusive event during which store manager and Skin Care Expert Linda Hölling talked about the effects of our environment and training on the skin and how to properly take care of it.

Our guests, wellness and lifestyle influencers, as well as 6 lucky winners from our Instagram competition also got the opportunity to learn more and test Oriflame’s Eco Beauty line while enjoying a delicious and healthy breakfast from Blueberry Lifestyle. After some mingling and private shopping before the store opened, everyone received an amazing goodie bag. Definitely the kind of morning we want to get up for.

A big thank you to Oriflame, Blueberry Lifestyle and everyone who got up early to join us. Head over to Facebook to see more pictures from our event and to keep track on whats up next.

Be Inspired

Do you dare put it away?

Every morning we put on makeup, trying to highlight our beauty. What we in fact are doing is hide our beautiful, natural self.

When was the last time you left the house without any makeup? Or went to work with bare skin?

For most women, using makeup is such a natural part of their morning routine that the idea of leaving the house without even a dash of powder or at least a thin layer of mascara is a bit daunting!

As much as I love cosmetics, I want to love my natural self even more. Why shouldn’t I? Every face is unique and has their own characteristics that should be highlighted. Not in form of makeup, but by embracing your own beauty and dare to show you natural self. Going natural is actually a great reminder that, even though we love makeup, we’re pretty awesome without.

Because in the end, what matters most is what’s on the inside. Your heart and soul, the way you love and how you treat others. Remember that. I am not saying abandon makeup forever, but at least learn to appreciate your own looks and be comfortable in your own skin. Because you rock, just the way you are.

So, in the spirit of being makeup free, lets wipe it off, shall we?!
